You meet yourself and then fly into the end of game ship and meet Bacterion but this is not your time as you fly out and meet the first boss rush

Stage 3 - Fortress - Underground City

Gradius V Gradius V
Planetary underground facility. Two Core's in a small vertical scrolling passage, this is more like a factory for building Cores!!

Stage 4 - Cell - Salamander

Gradius V Gradius V Gradius V
Salamander inspired stage

Stage 5 - Meteor - Asteroid Advance Base

Gradius V Gradius V Gradius V

Gradius V Gradius V
Meteorite Zone - Now this reminds me of the Crystal Stage 3 from Gradius II GOFER no yabou, if any stage could have been a Moai stage this would have been it.

Stage 6 - Something Green

Rotating stage full of green slime

Stage 7 - High Speed - Impregnable Fortress - Elephant Gear

Very similar to the other Gradius games with walls opening and closing and the fast scrolling, alot easier than Gradius IV Fukkatsu.

Stage 8 - Battleship

This is a repeat of Stage 2 but you fly the other route.

Weapon editing becomes available when you have completed one round without using continues.
