Shoot red enermies and pick up the Weapon Icon Pods

With each Icon Pod the Power Up Gauge at the bottom of the screen moves across by one, when its at a weapon you want press the Power Up button, you aquire that weapon and then the Power Up Gauge resets.

To get the better weapons you have to pick up more Icon Pods without choosing the lower weapons.

Its best to get a few Speed Ups first.

SPEED UP You can now select Speed Up six times, after five Speed Ups the Speed Up icon changes to INIT SPEED which when selected reduces you speed to none, very useful when you get to many speeds or when some stages require a faster ship.
	MISSILE Launches in the front lower direction. The missile will follow the topography but will not climb to higher, it will only go down and is destroyed when contact with an enemy.
	2-WAY Two Missiles are fired, one in the upwards direction and the other on the downwards direction, launching of the two missiles is simultaneous
	EAGLE WIND Depending upon your ship movement and position, similar to Hawk Wind in Gradius III Densetsu kara Shinwa.
	2-WAY BACK Same as 2 WAY but firing is in the rearward direction.
DOUBLE Standard weapon shots forwards and adds a front upward direction.
TAILGUN Standard weapon shots forwards and then adds rear firing
With 'Type 2' Option Lock you can fire in every direction.
	LASER You can modify discharge direction using 'Type2' and 'Type4' Option Lock.
	The laser of Options bends with the vertical movement of the Option which is in the midst of laser discharging or the modification of discharge direction.
	Laser discharge from you ship is not effected by Option formation or Option Lock, ie.. It always fires forwards.
OPTION Up to maximum of four which mimic you ships movement and fire the same weapons as yourself. There are 4 types Option Lock "FREEZE", "DIRECTION", "SPACING" and "ROTATE". While using the "Option Operation Button", after our machine moved basically. FORCE FIELD A barrier which wraps the whole fuselage of your ship. The Force Field can only take three hits from smaller objects before it is depleted.
